Patrizia Valsesia, Ph. D.
Patrizia Valsesia graduated in Materials Science at University of Milano-Bicocca in 2003, and obtained the title of PhD in Materials Science in 2006.
During the four years of research as a post-doc at the Department of Materials Science in Milan and abroad (New York State – USA), she published several papers on high-impact peer-reviewed international scientific journals and presented tens of communications at international congresses.
Since 2010 she is in charge of the New Raw Materials Laboratory at Intercos, Italian multinational company leader in the manufacturing of cosmetic products.
In her current research activity she leads the creation of new raw materials for the cosmetic field, from their conception to the introduction in the final cosmetic product.
She coordinates several collaborations with universities, research institutions and industrial partners, with the objective of developing exclusive cosmetic raw materials meeting the needs of ever increasingly sophisticated formulations. She is the author of several patents in the cosmetic field.
