I would like to thank you for attending the 26th IFSCC virtual conference, the most relevant scientific event of the cosmetics and personal care industry.


Our industry enhances beauty and well-being, moreover it has a social and economic impact creating fantastic job opportunities for millions of people around the world. Since 1957, the IFSCC has played a worldwide leading role in the growth and development of our industry promoting educational programs and sharing cutting edge scientific advances.


Since 2019, Covid-19 pandemic changed the world in terms of people’s mindset, lifestyle, values and very specially means of communication and interaction. Attending the 26th IFSCC virtual conference will bring new opportunities: scientific experts from around the world will share their findings on the diverse topics of cosmetic science, such as endemic ingredients, sustainable beauty, color cosmetics, skin care, sun protection, hair care, beauty innovation and new technologies. We hope this conference inspires you to create cosmetic science that awakens the senses.


I would like to take the opportunity to thank the Mexican Society of Cosmetics Chemists and the organizing committees for their excellent job to switch the in personal event into a Virtual-only event with new creative ways of interaction, beside of the scientific activities, the opening ceremony with two distinguish Mexican speaker, workshops, commercial exhibition and award ceremony in the virtual program. The platform will give you the opportunity to expand your professional network through the forums, chats and alive Q&A session communication.


A special acknowledgement to the scientific committee and the international advisory board for the wonderful job of choosing high-level distinguish speakers, key note speakers, poster and podium presentations that, we hope, you will enjoy during this conference.

Given the uncertainty around international travelling due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the steering committee of the SQCM and IFSCC 2021 organizing committee after careful analysis have decided to switch to personal event into a virtual-only event. You can now submit your abstract for the 26th IFSCC Conference with no worries about travel and venue safety. The event quality will be the same and we are going to do our best to present you a high-level virtual conference.


To take full advantage of the virtual event, the IFSCC 2021 organizer committee plans to expand the dates of the virtual Conference. All attendees will have more days to absorb the cutting-edge science of the Cancun Conference, without the expenses or inconveniences of travel.All regular IFSCC conference activities will be included, for instance regular awards, plenary conferences, Key note speaker presentations, podium and poster presentations and the opportunity to directly contact suppliers through our virtual exhibition. We are very sorry to disclose this news and not be able to host our friends from around the world in our sublime Cancun, Mexico; however, this is the best for all.

The abstract submission deadline for the Virtual IFSCC 2021 Cancún Conference has been extended to 31 March.

The Super Early Bird Registration rate is in effect until 31 March. Take advantage of the super low rate of $200 for IFSCC Members and register now at https://ifscc2021.org/registry.php

We will be extending the number of days the Conference will run, beyond the original dates of 25-27 October.
